I greet you cordially; I’m hoping that you find yourself well in your daily work.

The motive of this letter is to request a scholarship from you, since my family is of scanty resources. In San Martín Sacatepequez we speak the Mayan language Mam. My name is Víctor Manuel Rubio of León, I'm 17 years old, and I have to study fifth básico to be a teacher. Because they lack money, my parents cannot continue helping me with my studies. It is for that reason that I ask you with all my heart to help me to be able to make real my dreams of further study.
