Donna Goodnow

Hello, all! My name is Donna Goodnow, and I am an International Liaison with Project Victoria. Although originally from Iowa, I am currently living in Chicago where I am a Master of Divinity student at Chicago Theological Seminary. My desire to work for social justice led me to seminary, and through my studies I had the great opportunity to travel to Guatemala in January, 2005. Like others before me, I was deeply moved and forever changed by my experiences with the Mayan people. Upon my return, I was deeply grateful to learn of Project Victoria, and to be given the opportunity to work with such a worthwhile program. The faces and voices of the indigenous Guatemalans I encountered will remain with me always, and through Project Victoria and other presentations I hope to fulfill the promise I made to my Guatemalan friends - to tell their stories.
